CTA Announces Brief Closure of Service for the Skokie Swift Yellow Line on November 23

The CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) has
announced that the Skokie Swift Yellow Line is scheduled to be closed for
maintenance from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 23. The #97 bus will
replace rail service between the Skokie and Howard Street stations during the
closure period.
The CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) Skokie Swift Yellow Line weekend service runs from 6:10 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The Skokie Swift Parking Lots are no longer free on the weekends during the Skokie Swift Yellow Lines hours of operation. For $1.50, patrons may park in the Villages North Lot just north of Dempster Street and accessible from Gross Point Road. Parking in the South Lot, accessible from both Dempster Street and Niles Center Road, costs $2.00.
