Philosophy:
"Early childhood is the most critical period of human growth and development. Education is a shared process between parent, teacher, and child – with the parent as the main educator. At St. Peter Preschool, we provide a warm and loving atmosphere for your child to grow and develop."
St. Peter Preschool Goals:
• Social: to develop the skills of cooperation, sharing, and caring for others.
• Emotional: to help form a positive self image and build self-esteem.
• Cognitive: to help develop logical reasoning and classification.
• Physical: to encourage large and small muscle development and coordination.
• Religious: to encourage charity to all and a sense of community.
Curriculum:
“The curriculum is 'play-based.' Through directed and free play experiences, the students learn reading/language, math readiness, social, and science skills. The curriculum also includes religious instruction based on the Bible. Songs and fingerplays, and large and small motor activities are included daily."
