State Representative Elizabeth Coulson Secures Grants for Community Parks

Park Districts in Evanston, Glenview and Morton Grove each received $400,000 Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grants due to State Rep. Elizabeth Coulson's (17th District) efforts.

After many decades of memories, Skokie Lanes bowling alley will be closing at the end of April. Jim Hammersmith and his brother, John, bought Skokie's oldest bowling alley and bar about 30 years ago.

Scuba Systems Scuba & Snorkeling Center begins twice-weekly water aerobics class today. Class will meet Mondays and Wednesday from 5 to 6pm for 8-weeks. Fee is $175.

If you would like to try water aerobics, please join us for a complimentary class!

Water Aerobics is a great way to burn calories, build muscle, and improve flexibility. Principles of land running, Pilates, (core strengthening), Yoga, and tai chi are all incorporated into a fun water workout for total body conditioning.  Exercising in water is pleasurable, comfortable, refreshing and invigorating!

February 22 is the first day for nonresidents to register.
